When U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked the other day whether she “hated President Trump” she responded angrily, invoking her Catholicism and the teachings therein telling us to love everybody. She told the reporter, “Don’t mess with me” in closing out the exchange.
I will take the San Francisco Democrat at her word that she doesn’t HATE Trump or anyone else. However, through her leadership in impeaching our President she is facilitating and validating hate. I don’t think there is any doubt about it. She’s feeding hate. She’s massaging it. She’s helping it grow. And like what happens to all of us when we hate, she’s destroying herself and her political party.
As he exited the White House after his humiliating resignation President Richard Nixon famously said,
“Always remember, others may hate you, but those who hate you don’t win unless you hate them, and then you destroy yourself.”
Powerful words that Nixon would have done well to have learned himself prior to the time he said it. Few would argue that Nixon hated his detractors and that his crimes that led to his impeachment were fueled by that hate.
Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler and most of the House Democrats are pandering to the hate their Leftist constituents feel toward the President. Vows to impeach Trump began from the day he was elected. The aging Speaker forgot herself yesterday when she admitted in an interview that they (the Democrats) had been working on impeachment for 2 1/2 years. Nobody doubts that.
The Democratic party is increasingly being shaped and driven by the angry Millennials who are constituted of people roughly 19-36 years of age. This segment of our society not only HATES Trump (at least a majority of them do) they hate much about our society in the United States as evidenced by their embrace of Socialism and even Communism. And their hate is overwhelming.
If you don’t believe me how hateful Millennials and the Democrats are, simply offer a positive comment about Trump on a Facebook or Twitter account frequented by Leftists. Visit CNN, or the New York Times, or Alyssa Milano, or Rob Reiner, MSNBC or any number of social media pages that have demonstrably opposed Trump specifically and Republicans and Conservatism in general. Please do this. I challenge you. Simply comment in a positive way about Trump, the economy, our trade negotiations with China, the border wall or any other positive change in our country initiated by Trump. Then watch the hate flow. Be prepared. You won’t get people simply telling you they disagree with you. You’ll get people cursing at you, and calling you dumb, stupid, racist and more.
When Republicans impeached Bill Clinton in 1998 they suffered the consequences in the next election. House Speaker Newt Gingrich lost his Speakership and was forced from Congress. I have no doubt American voters will deliver the same verdict on this sham impeachment. I think the Democrats are going to be destroyed.

With Trump’s inevitable win in the Presidential race of 2020 and Republicans gaining control of both the House and Senate, not only will Pelosi lose her title of Speaker, but given her age and fall from grace I would expect her to resign. Furthermore, with 8 years of Trump in the White House and continued positive change taking place a whole generation of younger people will grow into adulthood knowing only prosperity and peace. And they will be Republicans as a result. If Trump doesn’t let his own hate destroy himself, which is a possibility, Democrats could be looking at a dark decade or more.
