Democrats and Media have been Lying to you for Years

The final report by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller is in and it’s as much of a vindication for President Trump, his family and his campaign staff as could be hoped for. The fact that the President and everyone on his campaign were found to not have been guilty of collusion with Russian (or anyone else) and found to not be guilty of obstruction of justice comes as a huge surprise to many CNN and MSNBC viewers in this country.

President Trump and to a lesser degree the Republicans in Congress have gotten more done, more victories than could have been imagined given the unprecedented opposition he has faced. While he continues to frequently stick his foot in his mouth with his boorish and at times childish Tweets, he continues to get the work done of the American people. He continues to strive for exactly what he was elected to do.

Since the day of his election in November 2016 the left has talked about impeaching this President. Since they didn’t have any actual proof of “high crimes and misdemeanors” they literally manufactured lies about Trump’s personal behavior and of his campaign’s colluding with a known hostile party.

The story of collusion was so ridiculous from the beginning it’s hard to believe nearly half this country was so easily bamboozled. Regarding the Russian interference in the Presidential election let’s get four things straight:

  1. Russian and/or the Soviet Union have been trying to undermine democracy in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world for decades. They’ve been involving themselves in Presidential elections as best they could since the days of Nikita Khrushchev.
  2. Investigators claim Russians spent $400,000 (that’s 400-hundred thousand) on Social Media ads to sew disunion in the U.S. during the 2016 election cycle. If true, so what? $400k is a paltry and largely ineffective amount to spend on marketing. I know. I’m a marketing expert. Additionally, much of what was advertised wasn’t in support of Trump. Almost none of it was. Much of it was in support of Bernie Sanders, the admitted Socialist.
  3. Russians did not “hack” John Podesta’s or Hillary Clinton’s emails. Instead Podesta succumbed to a phishing expedition. In other words, he was sent an email with a link that he clicked on that he should not have. Furthermore, WikiLeaks Julian Assange claims they didn’t get the Hillary emails from the Russians. And lastly, Investigators have determined that Russians tried and failed to access the National Republican Party headquarters computer’s and emails but failed due to the GOP’s security measures. (Side note: just who would you trust with your country’s security just based on this information? Democrats who were successfully hacked? Or Republicans who weren’t?)

While falsely claiming that Trump was in bed with Russians, the collusion story is far from the only lie CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times and other leftist, Socialist media organizations and Democrats have spread about Trump. Here’s one: Trump called neo-nazi’s and white supremacists “fine people”. That lie has Trump labelled a racist. The problem is…he never did say it. He never called the bigots at the Charlottesville, VA rally anything but deplorable people, who shouldn’t be tolerated and who have no place in the United States.

So? What to do now?

They only way this news of the lies and manipulation of American society can have any benefit is if enough people who hate Trump, and oppose the Conservative agenda he work’s toward finally admit that they were wrong and that they see their media and political leaders as the liars and the hypocrites that they so evidently are. Enough people must reject watching and listening to MSNBC, CNN, NBC News and reading the New York Times, Washington Post and other leftist propaganda venues. These organizations stopped being journalistic a long time ago. Rather than simply leaning their reporting toward their leftist tendencies and beliefs; these supposed news organizations have become advocates for everything we as a society used to collectively recognize as bad, evil or at least destructive. They must vote out of office the Adam Schiffs, the Nancy Pelosis, the Chuck Schumers, the AOC’s. They must recognize and embrace Making America Great Again.

I’m not holding my breath. I think the fight continues and probably gets more desperate.

Kavanaugh and Common Ground

The recently concluded U.S. Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Justice Brett Kavanaugh have ignited the passions of all Americans. Seldom in our nation’s history have political sides been so fiercely divided. Democrats strongly believe Kavanaugh didn’t belong on the nation’s highest court. They strongly believe he is guilty of sexually assaulting a 15 year old girl 37 years ago when he was 17 years old. Many have called him a rapist. Many believe his angry response to these charges disqualifies him because he demonstrated a temperament and a political bias that is inappropriate for serving as a judge let alone a Justice. Many believe he would over turn Roe vs Wade, the 45 year old Supreme Court ruling that legalized virtually all abortions throughout the land, and because of this he is unqualified for the Court. These are Democrat’s beliefs. And it makes no difference how wrong YOU think these beliefs are. It’s clear Democrats are immovable in these beliefs. Polls show no other demographic is the determining factor in whether a person finds Kavanaugh qualified or not. Not age, race, sexual orientation, income, geographic location. Nothing but your political affiliation determines whether you think Kavanaugh is guilty of the cruel charges against him. If you vote Democrat you believe his confirmation to be a travesty.

Republicans believe Kavanaugh was wronged and smeared with lies and exaggerations in a calculated character assassination designed to derail his Supreme Court nomination. They point to the fact that no charge against him is any newer or fresher than 35 years ago. Republicans point to accuser’s inability to produce evidence or corroborating witnesses. They point to Kavanaugh’s lifetime of service in government and in community service and his wonderful family. They believe him to be a good man.

As this is written we are 3 days from his confirmation being solidified and the storm has not quelled yet. Democratic politicians even talk of opening investigations into the recent claims that date back 30+ years and of impeaching the Justice. Samuel Chase, an original signatory of the Declaration of Independence is the only Supreme Court Justice to ever be impeached. The U.S. House voted for impeachment in 1805. The Senate acquitted the Associate Justice that same year.

It’s hard to fathom where we go from here. Division is so firm right now. But this Republican hopes to invoke the words of three Democrats in this writing in the hopes of beginning a mending of this country. Few things politically have upset me to the degree this matter has and while I think it would be easy to point fingers at the Left for their tactics in the Kavanaugh case, there is no getting around the fact that the Left is firm in its belief. So continuing to try and change their mind amounts to pounding ones head against brick. They would say the same of the Right.

In 1963 President John F. Kennedy said: “So, let us not be blind to our differences–but let us also direct attention to our common interests and to the means by which those differences can be resolved. And if we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. For, in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children’s future. And we are all mortal.”

It was in the context of world peace. But’s its cry for togetherness applies very much to today.

It was during his 1961 inaugural address that Kennedy said, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”

In 1988 defeated Democratic Presidential candidate Jesse Jackson addressed the Democratic National Convention in a stem winding speech where he repeatedly invoked the phrase “Common Ground”. “Common Ground! That is the challenge to our party tonight. Left wing. Right wing. Progress will come not through boundless liberalism nor static conservatism, but at the critical mass of mutual survival. It takes two wings to fly. The Bible teaches that when lions and the lambs can lie down together and none will be afraid, there will be peace in the valley. Common ground. American is not a blanket, woven from one thread, one color, one cloth. “

And in 2004 a State Senator from Illinois spoke at the Democratic National Convention about Red states and Blue states:

Three Democrats. One theme. We are all bound together and we all can achieve more when we work together.

Togetherness and love for one another is the only answer. It’s important for everyone of us to learn disagreement is not hate. Agreement is not love. Love is love. And we need a lot more of it.

So where can Americans find common ground:

Do we all want health for ourselves and especially our children?

Do we all want our politics free from corruption and graft.

Do we all want reduced crime in all forms?

Do we all want peace in the world and to remain free of war?

Do we all want safe, dependable roads and bridges?

Do we all want police forces that keep us safe and that don’t abuse their power?

Do we all want opportunity to pursue happiness as we define it?

Do we all want clean air and water?

Do we all want to eliminate the threat of global terrorism?

Yes is the answer to all these questions. And there are so many more that given time and some help I could list.

I’ve said many times, you and I are being manipulated. Sometimes its obvious and often it is more subtle. But both sides do it. Republicans and Democrats make crises out of whole clothe in order to incite the passions of their followers for the purpose of gaining money and votes. Be aware of this, sensitive to it, and reject it when you see it.

The American people have it within our own powers to end the hate and move forward happily toward a brighter future. Through volunteerism, charitable donations, and voting for political candidates who reject rank manipulation, corruption and graft we can put into power more honorable men and women. We’re capable. 17 years ago in the wake of 9-11 who would have ever thought a black man with a Muslim father and name would be a two term President of the United States? Two year ago who successfully predicted a vain, loud, egomaniac TV personality and businessman would be elected to the same office?

To get to the point where we can foster the type of political leaders we need to stop calling names and presuming each others motives. As pointed out above, we all want pretty much the same things. We all can share common ground on nearly all issues. We just need to better figure how to get there. Founding father Benjamin Franklin was renowned for his wisdom and ability to find compromise. He also said, “Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.”

LET’S GET STARTED.

Video Is Increasingly Important in Content Marketing (Infographic) – Adweek

80% of the internet will be video by 2019. It’s almost there already. So, you can ignore this marketing trend to your ultimate down fall, or you can spend your time and money learning how to produce videos and producing them and probably making less-than-optimum videos and lose time spent on what might be more important aspects of your business. The other option is you can hire professional video producers who know what they’re doing and don’t need to have you take time from your other job responsibilities.

Supreme Court’s newest justice invokes John Adams in high-profile cellphone case

The protection under the 4th Amendment to the Constitution is what is being argued in the very important case. The Justice Department is defending the practice of Law Enforcement agencies to access a person’s, any person’s, cell phone records without a warrant. In this case those records were used to determine a criminal suspects physical location at times of several robberies.

However, keep in mind what could be allowed, without a warrant, if this practice is deemed Constitutional. Cell phone records indicate where you were and are, what you purchase, who you talk or communicate with, and through coordination who you are with at what time and place.

It’s satisfying to know that our newest Supreme Court Justice seems interested in protecting our Rights. But until we hear the Court’s determination (probably next June) we should be fearful that our ever powerful Government is gaining even more power.

It should be understood that by having a cell phone or being on Social Media you are voluntarily forfeiting some privacy. And in the case where warrants are issued for the gathering of this information I have no problem. But the argument that getting a warrant is too burdensome for law enforcement has existed since the advent of our Republic, long before the digital-age allowed so much of our private information to be so easily accessed. It was a flawed argument then as it is now. As a people we have a Right to know our Government is not following us around, watching our every move, documenting it, and in some cases formulating criminal cases based on what would otherwise be private information.

Yes, Virginia … I believe in Santa.

santacoke

Published on this day, 120 years ago, it’s meaning and poetry is still tremendous and beautiful.

You may have heard the expression, “Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.” But you probably didn’t know from whence it came.

It came as an editorial in the New York Sun Newspaper September 21, 1897 in response to a letter written to The Sun by an 8-year old girl named Virginia.

Like so many children then and now, the youngster was disturbed by friends telling her there is no Santa Claus, and she was asking an authority she could trust for an answer.

Oh, how I would dread to be a parent to tell my kids there is no Santa Claus. To do so removes dreams and magic from a child’s life that they can never get back.

Most other cultures don’t know of or celebrate Santa Claus. In Mexico, for instance, children are taught that Baby Jesus brings them gifts Christmas Eve night. And still others will deny Santa Claus because they believe, to believe in Santa Claus diminishes the true meaning of Christmas, which is to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.

I understand these facts. But I still believe in Santa Claus because my father told me so; and because as a 53 year old child I still feel and enjoy the magic of such a belief. To deny Santa Claus doesn’t validify Jesus; just as believing in Santa doesn’t deny Jesus. To me, its just a matter of joy and putting that joy into my life and the life of my children and hopefully, someday Grandchildren.
