Impeachment is a Problem

For only the forth time in United States history our President is subject of an impeachment inquiry in the House of Representatives. The charges against President Donald J. Trump, according to Democrats, is that he used his office to ask the President of Ukraine to investigate his political opponent former Vice-President Joe Biden, who remains the leading candidate for the Democratic nomination. Democrats claim the President withheld military aide to Ukraine, which had been approved by Congress, until Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky publicly announced the investigation of Biden, and Ukraine energy company Burisma Holdings where Biden’s son Hunter Biden served as a highly paid member of the Board of Directors.

The number of things WRONG with the Democrats action in this matter are numerous. But let’s just list a few.

1. Article II of the US Constitution enunciates the powers of the President. It gives the President sole determinative power over foreign policy, and communications with foreign Ambassadors and Representatives. It also gives him sole power over commanding our military. Like it or not the July 25th phone call between Zelensky and Trump was part of the operation of foreign policy for which Trump is exclusively in charge.

2. Democrats can’t even articulate what crime(s) or to quote the Constitution, high crimes or misdemeanors, Trump committed. The closest thing you will hear to an actual claim of criminal conduct is “Abuse of Power”. But, as we have already established, since Trump has sole authority in the practice of foreign relations how he talks with foreign leaders and what he says is largely whatever he wants; within the bounds of reality. Not liking what he said or how he said it does not rise to the level of criminal conduct.

3. The money was delivered. Though Trump admits putting a hold on the military aide to Ukraine, the money was ultimately delivered. And, it was delivered before such time as Democrats made the world aware of this whole situation.

4. The investigation didn’t take place. The transcript from the July 25th phone call indicates that amongst other things Trump did ask Zelensky to “look into” the Burisma corruption situation. So, there is no arguing that Trump wanted the connection to Biden investigated. But, ultimately Zelensky ignored the request. And the money was still delivered.

5. The Biden’s CLEARLY did something wrong, if not illegal. Newly released emails show that Ukrainian officials sought a meeting with the Obama Administration using the fact that Hunter Biden was on the Burisma Board as leverage to gain such a meeting. Joe Biden famously brags about the fact that he ordered Ukraine to fire a Prosecutor who was investigating Burisma for corruption. At best Ukraine and Burisma specifically used Hunter Biden to gain favor with the Vice-President and the Obama Administration. THIS IS PERFECTLY CLEAR. At worst, both the Biden’s enriched themselves in exchange for using’s Joe Biden’s considerable influence and access to gain money and favors from the United States. Such corruption is illegal and possibly treasonous. On January 20, 2017 Donald Trump was sworn in as President and with his hand on the Bible promised to the best of his Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. By seeking foreign assistance in investigating corrupt and possibly treasonous activity by a past Vice-President and someone seeking the Presidency, Trump was certainly abiding by that oath.

I’m not naive enough to believe Trump wasn’t happy to investigate and smear his primary Presidential opponent. But that’s incidental to a legitimate investigation.

6. Trump will not be removed from office. Upon being impeached by the House, The Constitution requires that a trial for removal from office be held in the Senate, and that removal can only take place when 2/3 (or 67) Senators vote for the President’s removal. For that to happen 20 Republican Senators would have to join ALL 47 Democratic Senators in voting for removal. There is absolutely no indication that Democrats can get 20 Republicans to go along with such a vote.

The impeachment inquiry is purely political. It’s destructive to the country. It prevents other important matters from being discussed, and fixed.

Democrats have been boasting that they would impeach this President since the day he won election, before taking office. They have been pursuing it ever since. Now only 12 months before the next Presidential election they were forced to placate their zealous base and do it now or never.

On the good news side, upon impeaching and failing to remove President Trump from office I think his chances for re-election are pretty good; and I think the likelihood of Democrats trying this again in Trump’s 2nd term are slim.

But then again, Democrats have proven that they are simply crazy. So they might.

Democrats Perpetrating Presidential Hoax’s is Nothing New.

We’re placing this video from the January 2012 Republican Presidential debate here for you to watch to be reminded that Democrats perpetrating a hoax on the American people in Presidential election years is nothing new.

In this clip you see former Bill Clinton staffer, ABC News corespondent George Stephanopoulos grill eventual Republican nominee Mitt Romney about the Constitutionality of birth control. In watching the video it should be obvious Romney’s utter confusion as to why the question was being asked. You also see Stephanopoulos refusing to let Romney get away from the question without the ardent Democrat extracting from Romney an admission that the right-to-privacy, as determined by the Supreme Court’s Roe vs. Wade abortion decision should be overturned.

Stephanopoulos was on a mission. And only in viewing that which followed in the national press does it become clear what his mission was.

It should be noted that not at that time or since has there ever been an effort by Republicans or anyone else to take away a woman’s right to contraception medicines or devices. Which explains why Romney was so stumped by the question and by Stephanopoulos’ ardent pursuit of an answer.

What this question spawned was the Democrats claim of a “War on Women”, which became the overriding theme of President Obama’s campaign against Romney in general and Republicans specifically. It was a lie. It was never true that Republicans were waging a war on women. But the effects of the campaign undoubtedly turned many female voters into Romney haters and helped secure four more years in the White House for a Democratic President that had done very little to deserve re-election.

Fast forward seven years to 2019. At the dawning of the 2020 Presidential campaign Democrats were in high gear touting the alleged conspiracy President Trump and his campaign had partaken in with Russia to win the 2016 campaign against Hillary Clinton. To listen to Democrats and the mainstream media (MSM) Trump’s impeachment was inevitable. He was treasonous, they claimed. Then the Mueller report came out and some air was let out of their balloon. The Mueller report completely exonerated Trump and his campaign on any claim of Russian collusion and said insufficient evidence existed to charge obstruction of justice for a crime it said never took place.

What remaining air was left in their collusion/impeachment balloon disappeared entirely when the report’s author Robert Mueller appeared before Congress and testified in such a way as to make clear he had little hands on involvement in his own report. Subsequently, it became clear that the report exonerating Trump and his staff was put together by Mueller’s investigative staff which was assembled almost entirely of Democratic partisans. And still, they couldn’t pin anything on Trump.

So, the collusion conspiracy lie died suddenly. Its death being fully complete when during the Democratic Presidential debates on CNN not a single moderator asked, and not a single candidate spoke of the Russian allegations against Trump.

So, what’s dominating the news now? Trump is a racist! He’s not only a racist, he’s a white supremacist encouraging white supremacy groups all over the country. The claim is so pervasive that Trump is even being blamed for mass shootings that occurred over this past weekend. The fact is that mass shootings, mental illness and sometimes the hatred that triggers them is an American phenomena dating back decades before Trump ever entered the public eye.

It’s time to make the Democrats pay for the lies that they perpetrate. Though Trump is guilty of incendiary language at times; and though he’s an egotist and a blow-hard his actions as President and long before prove decisively that he is not a racist or white supremacist.

It’s my fervent prayer that the lemmings who vote Democratic election after election will finally see that the party of the KKK and of Jim Crowe and of Socialism is a party hell-bent on power and control and that merely lying about a person’s character is but a small but necessary step in achieving their ultimate goals.

Democrats and Media have been Lying to you for Years

The final report by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller is in and it’s as much of a vindication for President Trump, his family and his campaign staff as could be hoped for. The fact that the President and everyone on his campaign were found to not have been guilty of collusion with Russian (or anyone else) and found to not be guilty of obstruction of justice comes as a huge surprise to many CNN and MSNBC viewers in this country.

Source: Media pulled off big con with Russia collusion story – Washington Times

President Trump and to a lesser degree the Republicans in Congress have gotten more done, more victories than could have been imagined given the unprecedented opposition he has faced. While he continues to frequently stick his foot in his mouth with his boorish and at times childish Tweets, he continues to get the work done of the American people. He continues to strive for exactly what he was elected to do.

Since the day of his election in November 2016 the left has talked about impeaching this President. Since they didn’t have any actual proof of “high crimes and misdemeanors” they literally manufactured lies about Trump’s personal behavior and of his campaign’s colluding with a known hostile party.

The story of collusion was so ridiculous from the beginning it’s hard to believe nearly half this country was so easily bamboozled. Regarding the Russian interference in the Presidential election let’s get four things straight:

  1. Russian and/or the Soviet Union have been trying to undermine democracy in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world for decades. They’ve been involving themselves in Presidential elections as best they could since the days of Nikita Khrushchev.
  2. Investigators claim Russians spent $400,000 (that’s 400-hundred thousand) on Social Media ads to sew disunion in the U.S. during the 2016 election cycle. If true, so what? $400k is a paltry and largely ineffective amount to spend on marketing. I know. I’m a marketing expert. Additionally, much of what was advertised wasn’t in support of Trump. Almost none of it was. Much of it was in support of Bernie Sanders, the admitted Socialist.
  3. Russians did not “hack” John Podesta’s or Hillary Clinton’s emails. Instead Podesta succumbed to a phishing expedition. In other words, he was sent an email with a link that he clicked on that he should not have. Furthermore, WikiLeaks Julian Assange claims they didn’t get the Hillary emails from the Russians. And lastly, Investigators have determined that Russians tried and failed to access the National Republican Party headquarters computer’s and emails but failed due to the GOP’s security measures. (Side note: just who would you trust with your country’s security just based on this information? Democrats who were successfully hacked? Or Republicans who weren’t?)

While falsely claiming that Trump was in bed with Russians, the collusion story is far from the only lie CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times and other leftist, Socialist media organizations and Democrats have spread about Trump. Here’s one: Trump called neo-nazi’s and white supremacists “fine people”. That lie has Trump labelled a racist. The problem is…he never did say it. He never called the bigots at the Charlottesville, VA rally anything but deplorable people, who shouldn’t be tolerated and who have no place in the United States.

So? What to do now?

They only way this news of the lies and manipulation of American society can have any benefit is if enough people who hate Trump, and oppose the Conservative agenda he work’s toward finally admit that they were wrong and that they see their media and political leaders as the liars and the hypocrites that they so evidently are. Enough people must reject watching and listening to MSNBC, CNN, NBC News and reading the New York Times, Washington Post and other leftist propaganda venues. These organizations stopped being journalistic a long time ago. Rather than simply leaning their reporting toward their leftist tendencies and beliefs; these supposed news organizations have become advocates for everything we as a society used to collectively recognize as bad, evil or at least destructive. They must vote out of office the Adam Schiffs, the Nancy Pelosis, the Chuck Schumers, the AOC’s. They must recognize and embrace Making America Great Again.

I’m not holding my breath. I think the fight continues and probably gets more desperate.

Meddling in Presidential Politics

French President Nicholas Sarkozy (L) hosts Illinois Senator Barrack Obama in 2008

Leftist and ultimately failed British Prime Minister Gordon Brown hosts Illinois Senator Barrack Obama in 2008

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas meets Illinois Senator Barrack Obama in 2008.

Congressional investigations are now underway to determine Russia’s involvement in the Presidential election of 2016. It’s important to do. But at this point it is also important to state that no one is alleging or even suspects that Russia illegally altered  votes cast by the American people. No one believes Russia hacked voting machines or stuffed ballot boxes.

Let’s be clear: at worst Russia is suspected of trying to sway U.S. public opinion away from Hillary Clinton. They did this, allegedly by illegally acquiring emails written and received by Clinton’s campaign Director. They did this by exposing to the public…the truth.

The fact that Russia tried to influence the U.S. Presidential election is bad, but not the least bit surprising.

They’ve been doing it for decades. And NOBODY disputes this fact!!!

What’s perhaps more shocking to the American political system is how hypocritical and forgetful the media and everyone else seems to be about our own recent history. Russia meddling in U.S. Presidential politics is bad. It’s possibly a little worse than granting what amounts to a State Visit by a Foreign Leader to a young Senator from Illinois with ZERO foreign policy experience, thus giving him that foreign policy experience plus the gravitas in the eyes of the American electorate of having met with foreign leaders. In the case of Barrack Obama its fortelling to note that nearly all the European and Middle East leaders he met with in the Summer of 2008 were leftist in their politics and not friends to Israel.

Having foreign governments trying to influence the U.S. Presidential Election has been going on for decades, and its neither completely bad nor surprising. I would argue that it’s in their best interest to help a U.S. Presidential candidate who would have a more favorable relationship toward them if elected and in their best interest to hinder a candidate with whom they felt antagonism.

So what are we to make of these Congressional investigations? Well, lets not forget President Trump’s victory came as a Yuuuuuge surprise to everyone. Democrats, the media, and most Republicans.

My Hail Mary for Trump Against Hypocrisy

He's the best of our bad choices.

He’s the best of our bad choices.

This blog will be read by relatively few people in the last day before the 2016 Presidential Election. Many who will or might read this have already voted. All the significant bombshells for or against Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have already been launched. So what’s the point of writing this advocacy for a man so many dislike or even hate? Because the seriousness of this election warrants doing so.

Trump is right about at least one thing in this election campaign. Clinton is likely the most corrupt candidate to ever come this far in a U.S. Presidential election. How about this fact alone: Clinton destroyed over 30-thousand emails after they had been subpoenaed by Congress, with her staff even destroying some devices with hammers. FBI Director James Comey says he wouldn’t recommend prosecution of Clinton because he couldn’t prove intent. What more evidence of intent do you need than intentionally destroying material-evidence after its been subpoenaed? Richard Nixon erased 18 minutes of audio recordings and was forced to resign. Hillary Clinton destroys 30k emails and is elected President. Maybe.

Peter Schweizer is the author of the controversial book “Clinton Cash”. He said it best the other day when he said, “The worst part about Clinton avoiding prosecution is that if she gets away with it other politicians will copy her behavior”. America, is that what you want?

It’s important to acknowledge that a lot of Americans will vote for Clinton not because she is such a prized candidate but because of two specific reasons completely unrelated to her unworthiness. One, she’s a woman and would be the first ever female President.  If you’re in this camp just imagine, for a moment, if you heard someone say “I’m voting for Trump because he’s a man”. Such thinking, either way, is bigoted and non-sensical.

The second reason people vote for Clinton is because they dislike Donald Trump even more. This would be a valid reason if not for Clinton’s total disqualifying characteristics, and if not for the hypocrisy associated with much of the charges leveled against Trump. Let’s look at some of them.

Trump is a womanizer and misogynistAs to hating women, that’s ridiculous. Trump attacks anyone who confronts or disrespects him, male or female. Gender doesn’t matter. He’s an equal opportunity bully, if you will. Trump has hired and promoted dozens of women in his business including hiring a woman to oversee the construction of Trump Tower back in the 80s when hiring a women for such a large construction project had never, NEVER, been done before.

The charges that Trump is a womanizer can hardly be defended. But the hypocrisy in this matter is so thick you could cut it with a knife. It’s not as if Trump would be the first man who fooled around to serve as President. John Kennedy’s sexual exploits have become the subject of legend. Dwight Eisenhower had an affair with his Secretary. Franklin Roosevelt died while in the company of his long time mistress. Warren G. Harding suffered a heart attack and died while having sex with his mistress in the White House! And the King of all hypocrisy is voting for Hillary knowing you also voted for her husband whose affairs were known prior to his election in 1992 and whose dalliance with a 22-year-old intern was known prior to his 1996 re-election. If you voted for Bill Clinton and won’t vote for Trump because of his womanizing you are a hypocrite, period.

The charges that Trump forced a kiss on some women or groped a few others I simply don’t believe. Trump has been a huge public figure for over 30 years with no such charges having ever been levied against him. And suddenly he’s running against the corrupt Clinton Machine and these charges service? Some more than 30 years ago? Until a court of law says otherwise I simply believe these stories are lies or exaggerations. It’s important to note that NONE of these claims were brought forward during the Republican Primary when had they surfaced the nomination would have certainly gone to someone else. No. It wasn’t until it was clear that he was the nominee and that he would face Clinton that we heard anything about Trump mistreating women. I don’t believe them.

Trump won’t release his tax records. The story is this is unprecedented. The story is a lie. While Mitt Romney released his tax records in 2012, he didn’t when he finished second in the nominating process in 2008. Politifact says (not including Romney) seven candidates for President or Vice-President have not released their Federal Tax records since 1976. And that list does not include 1984 Vice-Presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro. Ferraro DID release her tax records after Democratic nominee Walter Mondale tapped her to be the first female candidate ever for Vice-President (of a major party). But Ferraro’s husband, John Zaccaro, did not; at least initially. He later gave in to public pressure and released his tax records; and upon having done so had to pay $50,000 in back-taxes.

The fact is Trump is the first Presidential candidate of a major party to be on the general election ballot who is not a politician. He’s a businessman. And despite some assertions to the contrary, use your eyes and your common sense, and anyone can see he is a very successful businessman and has been for decades. The fact that he’s had some business bankruptcies and rebounded from them very successfully only shows that he is a very good businessman. The fact that he had paid little or no Federal Income tax in 20+ years also shows that he’s a very successful businessman or at least has a very good and successful accountant. Do you really think he does his tax himself? Were his tax records in any way unlawful, given his wealth and his prominent public image you can be certain we all would know about it by now especially given how he has taken on Clinton as well as the sitting President Barrack Obama. Do you really think he would avoid prosecution from THIS current Administration were he actually guilty of any crime? Use your head and a tiny bit of common sense. Doing so, you’ll realize the Clinton charges against him are nothing more than political rhetoric, lies, and manipulation.

Trump is a racist. This one is a mystery. This charge, like so many racist calls in modern America, seems to lack any credible evidence. Trump has strongly spoken out against crime. He’s called himself the Law and Justice Candidate. He has spoken out against crime by illegal aliens. He has spoken out against crime in the inner-cities. And he has spoken out against the prevalent white-collar crime that no one denies occurs in and around Washington D.C. and Wall Street. The FACT that much of America’s crime problem (not all of it) emanates from non-white people is not Trump’s fault. And saying so, here in this blog, or as a Presidential candidate is not racist. Once again, I point out that Trump has been a huge national figure for over 30 years. NBC, a network whose liberal, Democratic preferences are as obvious as FOX News’ Conservative, GOP preferences employed Trump for 11 years with his show The Apprentice, until Trump decided to run for President. Do you think he would maintain a slot in their prime-time line-up were it widely known, or even suspected, that he was racist? Puuuuhhhleeeezzz! You are being manipulated.

Trump is not really a Christian. Trump is a sinner. In my faith we understand that we all are. That would include Hillary Clinton, BTW. But Donald Trump committed to God and his Christian faith four years ago. Who are you to question that fact? Why is it endearing for a homeless, thieving, alcohol and drug addict to “find God”, but somehow Trump doing so is unbelievable or hypocritical? If we judge Trump by his words and actions during this campaign versus Hillary, there is no question who the Christian is. Trump is the first politician in my life time to speak of repealing the Johnson Amendment. The Johnson Amendment is named after former President Lyndon Johnson and refers to a change in the U.S. tax code made in 1954 which prohibited religious tax-exempt organizations from endorsing and opposing political candidates. I’ve always felt if our religious leaders can’t “lead” us in discussion of politics and government leaders than our faith and our morals are likewise inhibited. And who can argue that since the Johnson Amendment we haven’t had a diminishing in religious faith and moral values? Trump wants to allow religious leaders to lead. Bravo!

Trump has a bad temperament. Sure he does. But that can be said for many strong, successful individuals. It certainly can be said for Hillary Clinton. It could be said for Harry Truman, whose vulgar curse laden vocabulary was humorous.

Trump doesn’t have political experience. Many believe this is a plus, a positive, and in some case THE single reason to vote for Trump. But if you feel otherwise please consider Abraham Lincoln served only one 2 year term in Congress, and completed that term 11 years prior to becoming President. Woodrow Wilson had even less. He served as a University President in New Jersey. Dwight Eisenhower led the allied forces in World War II, but never served in political office until being elected President in 1952. And Barack Obama was only 2 years into his only term in the U.S. Senate when he decided to seek the Presidency. AND…Obama had ZERO executive experience in politics or business. So quit with this lame argument.

I don’t like Trump. I looked for any viable option or reason to vote against him, and honestly, that included considering voting for Hillary. So while I understand your distaste for voting for him; I honestly believe he is the best of the bad options we’ve been given. Vote, if you haven’t already. But just realize, you have been manipulated and lied to throughout this campaign. Use some common sense and avoid voting for an unrepentant criminal, and vote instead for someone who at least has a chance for Making America Great Again.
